Serving the Many Needs of a School
Indian Creek Elementary in Center School District has benefited in numerous ways through its partnership with Colonial Presbyterian Church. Through the Lead to Read program, the church has mobilized mentors serving 52 second graders and 44 third graders. Fifteen families received turkeys and food baskets in November. Money contributions have been a huge help as well for the use of new uniforms and teacher appreciation gift cards. The community partner has done landscaping clean-up, trimmed trees, and is currently undertaking a new project to install a couple of benches for the patio / courtyard area as well.
