Project Shine Gives Uplifting Makeover to Ruskin High School

More than 150 volunteers from the Hickman Mills community gathered at Ruskin High School July 25 for Project Shine, painting 31 classrooms and landscaping the front entrance to the building. Volunteers from churches, businesses, civic groups and the school district gave a fresh face to the school before students began classes in August. In addition, 250+ volunteers for We Are One provided school supplies, backpacks, health screenings, immunizations, and services from the community to families that day. Img 1819
