During Ingels Elementary’s virtual learning phase, the school, like many others, has had to put off many of its family events. Principal Connie Moore created a Principals Roundtable that meets two times a month to talk with parents on a variety of topics via Zoom. She shared at a partnership meeting that they were not having the attendance they had hoped, and it was suggested that the school offer a gift card or pizza delivery as a door prize for attending the meeting. “At our last meeting we drew for a $20 gift card. I shared that out in my weekly email to families and we had 5 families attend our session that discussed community resources for families,” said Principal Moore. ”I am so appreciative of the partners that serve our Ingels family. They are truly a blessing and do so much for our school.”
