When creating goals at the beginning of the 2018-2019 school year, Principal Dr. Jennifer Price voiced an important need to prepare her students for summer employment, college entrance interviews, and post-high school careers.  The partnership began to brainstorm ways to help make this goal a success.  Initially, the idea of a job fair was pursued, but as they began to unpack the resources needed for a successful job fair, it became apparent that the students would first need to be prepared for the job or college entrance interviews. As students prepared for upcoming summer employment, college interviews, and post high school job interviews, the idea of the Mock Interview Project was born.

In its first year it had great success with the help of 34 caring adults interviewing and giving feedback to roughly 75 students.  During the 2019-2020 school year, the partnership pursed the endeavor once again with gained success.  Although the adult volunteer count was numerically consistent with the previous school year, the student turnout reached 188.
