Grateful for Partners’ Generosity at Thanksgiving

Many of Caring for Kids’ partners provided food baskets or gift cards to families to ensure everyone enjoyed a delicious Thanksgiving meal. Some, like Habitat for Humanity, one of Raytown’s Southwood Elementary partners, also donated hats and gloves while dropping off food baskets to help keep kids warm throughout the winter. Colonial Presbyterian Church delivered turkeys and food baskets to Indian Creek and Boone Elementary Schools in the Center School District. Pictured are food baskets from Old Mission UMC for Roesland families in Shawnee Mission School District. Thank you to all community partners for caring for Kansas City’s kids and their families!
