Partner with a

Local School

With a desire for all children to reach their highest potential, Caring for Kids mobilizes community organizations – churches, businesses, and civic groups – to partner with a local school to inspire hope and help children to impact their world. There are many ways for your organization to serve schools through student support, family engagement and support, staff support, and facility improvement.

We would be happy to meet with you to identify a Caring for Kids school to serve. We are also available to speak to your group about the impact your organization can make in the life of a child. If your organization is interested in partnering with a school, please contact us. You may also contact any of our partnership directors listed below if you already know which district you would like to serve.

Prayer Partnership

Partner in Prayer

Prayer for students, their families, and staff of Kansas City area schools is greatly appreciated, as well as prayer for Caring for Kids Network as we continue to expand into new schools and develop partnerships in current schools. Below are several resources that you may use to guide prayer for schools and the children of KC. Also listed are upcoming church events to prepare for the fall reopening.

COVID-19 Response

Caring for Kids community partners have a tremendous opportunity to lean in and support schools, kids, and families in their 2020-2021 re-entry plans. The schools and partners of Kansas City have risen to the challenge over the months of quarantine, and we are confident that the caring community of Kansas City will continue to bring great support as students re-enter a new normal.

Below are ideas for potential community support during schools’ initial re-entry.
